The purpose of the Public Safety Advisory Committee is to serve as an advisory board providing citizen input to the public safety administration and City Council, review budget proposals and prepare a report recommending the proposed budget to City Council.  The Public Safety Advisory Committee will also review policies, receive monthly and annual activity reports.

The Public Safety Advisory Committee is composed of five members

  • 1 – Resident recommended by the Fire Chief
  • 1 – Resident recommended by the Police Chief
  • 2 – Residents appointed by the Mayor
  • 1 – City Council Liaison

The members are appointed by the Mayor with the consent of City Council.
